Ivyland, Pa., Open Floor Concept Home Remodel
This Ivyland Open Floor Concept Home Remodel brought this home into the 21st century. It wasn’t as compartmentalized as most of the homes we encounter when doing open floor concept remodels, but because most light comes through the sliding glass doors the whole area was very dark due to a wall separating the living area from the kitchen & dining room.

Hickory Barnwood Cashmere
By replacing the load bearing wall between the kitchen and living area with an iron beam, this home now has a beautiful open layout that’s perfect for entertaining. And what was once a dark room is now a bright and airy space with tons of natural light flooding in throughout this main area of the home.
We also replaced the old flooring with new wood and completely renovated the kitchen and dining area. We didn’t have to change much of the home’s floor plan since removing the main divider wall gave us plenty room to add an oversized kitchen island. The rest of the cabinetry maintained it’s original footprint, but completely updated from the ground up.
